India, Bangladesh to jointly set up thermal power plant
India
and Bangladesh will sign an agreement today to set up a 1,320 megawatt
coal based power project jointly at Khulna in Bangladesh.
A five-member high-level delegation of senior officials of the National Thermal Power Corporation led by Union Power Secretary P. Uma Shankar arrived in Dhaka yesterday to sign the agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board.
