The Institut Français India (IFI) of the Embassy of France in India is pleased to host the DELF Junior certificate award ceremony. DELF Junior is an official diploma in French language studies issued by France’s Ministry of National Education. Similar to the Cambridge First Certificate for English language learners, this diploma is valid for life, and is awarded and recognized around the world.

Dr Bertrand de Hartingh, Cultural Counsellor - Embassy of France and IFI Country Director, will distribute the awards during a ceremony on

NOTE TO EDITORS

Ø  Advantages of the DELF certificate 

-          DELF certification, obtained after successfully clearing the B2 level, gives access to higher education in French at the undergraduate level in world-class French universities. 

-          There are many advantages to studying in the French medium in France, such as the tuition fee waiver in public universities.

-          Studying in France opens new avenues of skilled employment. Professional opportunities can be found in the over 400 French companies present in India. French investors like Sodexo and Capgemini employ around 30, 000 employees each.

-          International students who have obtained a degree in France can seek employment in France in line with their studies for up to two years after obtaining their Master’s degree.
