REQUEST FOR MEDIA COVERAGE
To mark the on-going Seventieth Anniversary of the United Nations, UNIC has collaborated with the National Progressive Schools Conference network to organize football matches for the UN Football Trophy. (For your information, NPSC Schools is a smart network of schools that subscribe to UN values and objectives of fairplay, democracy and human rights. This year, NPSC is partnering with UNIC in observing the world body's Seventieth Anniversary in India under the logo yoUNg@70.)
As part of the UN Football Tournament, for the past two weeks, matches have been played by 64 school teams at three venues in Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad.
The grand final match will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, 23 April 2015, at Springdales School, Pusa Road, New Delhi.
UNIC is writing to invite you to kindly cover the finals and the UN Trophy Ceremony.
