India Continues to show a positive change in momentum: OECD

According to the Composite Leading Indicators (CLI) developed by OECD, India continues to show a positive change in momentum. India’s CLI marginally rose to 97.7 in May which increased to 97.9 in June.

The CLIs point to moderate improvements in growth in most major OECD countries but stabilizing or slowing momentum in large emerging economies. The CLI of China points to slowing momentum while the Euro Area as a whole continues to show a gain in growth momentum. The CLIs for the United StatesJapan and the United Kingdom point to economic growth firming while CLIs of Russia and Brazil point to slowing momentum.
