“SMIDEX 2012 and ASEAN-INDIA SME CONFERENCE”

FICCI MSME Delegation to “SMIDEX 2012 and ASEAN-INDIA SME CONFERENCE” from 20-22 June 2012, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

 

This is to inform you that FICCI has collaborated with the Small and Medium Enterprise Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp.) and is organizing an MSME delegation to participate in “SMIDEX 2012 and ASEAN-INDIA SME CONFERENCE” from 20-22 June 2012 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia, The Conference will be held back-to-back with “SMIDEX 2012 exhibition” which will provide the platform for SMEs to exhibit and showcase their innovative products and services. During the SMIDEX 2012, pre-arranged business matching session will also be held for participating companies.

 

SMIDEX 2012 and ASEAN-India SME Conference 2012 “Breaking Barriers, Building Success” is an avenue & platform for successful business networking and reinforced collaboration among Indian and ASEAN SMEs. The delegation will create opportunities for small and medium business owners and entrepreneurs to:

·         Understand the rules and regulations of doing business with ASEAN member countries

·         Get updated information and approaches on business, trade and investment potentials

·         Forge strategic business partnership and networking with the Large and Multi National Corporations

·         Enhance efficiency, profitability, and export competitiveness

·         Exhibit innovative products

 

Hon’ble Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak will inaugurate the event. The participants in the event are among prominent business leaders from both ASEAN Member States and India that have successfully taken their business to great heights of success. Over 800 participants from ASEAN Member States and India, including the Malaysian business community are expected to participate.

 

Given the strategic importance of the visit and your business interests, I request you to be part of this important delegation. Conference Programme as on date is also attached for your reference.

 

To defray a part of the organizational expenses a delegation fee Rs. 35000/- per company is being charged. This fee includes participation fee of 1 delegate, one exhibition booth, business matching, (This amount does not include airfare, hotel accommodation, local transport, etc of the delegate). Delegation fee for an additional delegate from the same company is Rs. 20,000/-.  In case you would like to participate in the conference and B2B meetings only the delegation fee would be Rs 20,000.
