Top regional railway operators will share project updates at Asia Pacific Rail 2012 conference

With rapid growth in Asian economies, they have also naturally become the most active developers in the railway space. Recent projects in the region include the development of the Circle Line in Singapore, the West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong, the Yuxi-Mengzi railroad in Yunnan China, and more. The series of rail projects in various part of Asia is in line with ASEAN’s plan to develop a Singapore-Kunming Rail Link, that is estimated to cost more than USD2 billion.

Asia Pacific Rail provides a platform for regional railway professionals gather to review their network performance and discuss strategies on operational efficiency. More than 50 sessions will be conducted over the 4 tracks in the 2 day conference. Over 40 speakers have confirmed their attendance at the event, including:
