Vice President in Turkey on six-day visit  

Seeking to create a new paradigm in bilateral ties and boost trade links, Vice President Hamid Ansari on Monday arrived in the Turkish capital Ankara on a six-day visit to the country strategically situated on the crossroads of Europe and Asia.
On his arrival at the Esenboga airport in Ankara, Ansari was received by the Deputy Speaker of Turkish Parliament Mehmet Saglam.

The Vice President is accompanied by his wife Salma Ansari. Ansari will pay homage to the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk at his Mausoleum in Ankara on Tuesday from where he will proceed for a meeting with the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (GNAT) Cemil Cicek.
