Shooting at religious festival in Thai

A minor girl along an official were killed,another 11 people were inured when a group of gunmen opened fire at a crowd during annual religious festival in Thailand's Surat Thani Temple on Monday, the Bangkok Post daily reported.Police said at least six gunmen exited a vehicle and began shooting at Songwut Noppakhun, an official of the Surat Thani Provincial Administrative Organization. More than 10 spent bullet cartridges were found at the scene.Songwut was killed in the shooting and a five-year-old girl was hit by a stray bullet and died on her way to the hospital.
