But The CBI has issued a look-out notice against Balkrishna, an aide of Yoga guru Ramdev, after it registered a case against him. The agency has earlier said Balkrishna used fake degree to get his passport. The official sources reports, the agency has issued the look-out notice so that he does not flee the country.Ramdev-strongly defended his colleague at "Meet the Press"Constitution club,New Delhi today:Baba-said case against Acharya Balkrishna is fabricated, had Balkrishan degrees been fake he would not have attached them with his application to get a passport."One do not require degrees to get a passport,illiterates are entitled to a passport.What benefit would one get by attaching fake degree?” Baba asked.

Investigations on Balkrishna's citizenship are also underway to ascertain whether he is an Indian or Nepali citizen. Official sources say, besides questions being raised about his nationality, Balkrishna is under the scanner of the central investigating and law enforcement agencies for allegedly amassing wealth worth several crores of rupees disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Supreme Court on Monday decided to view the video footage of Delhi Police crackdown on yoga guru Ramdev and his followers. A bench of justices B S Chauhan and Swatanter Kumar decided to watch the two-hour video recording of the entire incident on 5th August at 4.15 PM.

Turning down Ramdev's plea to implead Chidambaram, who had defended the Delhi Police action, the bench said it is not expanding the ambit of the case and the focus is to examine the circumstances which led to the June 4 incident. The bench said it is not making the Home Minister a party to have his say in the case at this stage but will keep the issue open. Expressing concern over the incident, the bench said, innocent persons should not be beaten up by whosoever.
