Congress Nyaya march in Lucknow not allowed

UP state assembly election next year opposition parties in UP are in to cash each moment thus Congress Nyaya march planned in Lucknow is not allowed Mayawati government has not given permission to the Congress or the Opposition parties to take out any protest march and State government has imposed Section 144 in Lucknow.

Congress slammed this decision saying it reflected the "fascist" style of functioning of the Mayawati government."How can they deny permission for our democratic right to hold a peaceful march? It is ridiculous," Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) chief Rita Bahuguana Joshi said.

Dstrict administration cited the possibility of breach of peace that could be caused by the planned march for its decision. District Magistrate Anil Kumar Sagar said permission has been declined as police apprehended breach of peace and inconvenience to residents due to traffic disruptions.BSP chief said the allegations are politically motivated.

"If any incident takes place in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress government takes that opportunity to put a wrong picture through the media. The Congress government plays politics on any incident that takes place in UP," Mayawati said.
