Anna Hazare''s call to visit the elected representatives.

Union Ministers and MPs today faced the heat over the Lokpal issue when protesters staged demonstrations outside their homes in several parts of the country heeding Anna Hazare''s call to visit the elected representatives. Anna Hazare and govt to engage in a dialogue with the Anna asking a representative to be named for the purpose by PM Manmohan Singh who has expressed a willingness to have a "reasoned debate" on the issue:Standing Committee Chairman on Lokpal Bill said Team Anna, Govt didnt differ much on content but on method & promised to present "acceptable to all" bill within 3 months-Team Anna said the govt should ensure passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill by August 30:Anil Shastri-- another indication of the growing discomfort in sections of Congress with the handling of the Anna Hazare crisis, a senior party leader today said Government underestimated the Gandhian''s movement against corruption and asked it to enter into dialogue with him.

varungandhi80 Varun Gandhi What the people overwhelmingly support, the people's representatives have a duty to push for. varungandhi80 Varun Gandhi I urge and expect every opposition MP 2 give signed statements in support of the JanLokpal Bill as a way to pressure this govt to adopt it.
